Gareth Mon is an internationally and nationally award-winning landscape and astrophotographer from North Wales, driven by a deep passion for adventure, the outdoors and the extraordinary beauty of the natural world.

From the rugged mountains and coastlines of Eryri (Snowdonia) to the vast, star-filled skies above Wales, Gareth is constantly searching for those fleeting moments when light, landscape and atmosphere come together. His photography is not simply about recording a view; it is about experiencing the landscape, feeling a connection with it and sharing that feeling through every image.

His work has received international and national recognition, including being named World Weather Photographer of the Year 2019 and receiving recognition at the British Photography Awards in 2023. These achievements reflect not only his technical skill but also his dedication to chasing remarkable conditions, exploring wild places and capturing the character and emotion of the landscapes he loves.
